. First Steps is a short service for toddlers and their carers held in church from 9:00am to 10:00am on the Tuesday in school term time, followed by refreshments in the Church Centre. On the third Tuesday each month we have a slightly longer service which ends at 10.40am Mini Steps meet on the 1st, 2nd, 4th and 5th Tuesday of the month in school term time from 9:00am to 10:30am. Home Groups meet on the 1st and 3rd Tuesday of the month at 2:30pm and 7:30pm. The Friendship Group is an older persons’ lunch club which meets in the Church Centre on a Wednesday. There is a waiting list - please contact Fiona Wormald on 01246 275741 for details. Mothers’ Union meets at 2.15pm on the first Wednesday of the month. For details of the programme please click here. The church bellringers ring a peal of five bells for morning worship and weddings. New ringers are welcome. A robed choir led by the organist and choirmaster Bob Girdler leads the singing at sung communion, evensong and weddings with special services to celebrate festivals. A bi-monthly parish magazine is printed and distributed, subscription £6.00 (£8.00 if posted). There are usually spare copies available at the back of the church. The Pastoral Group organises activities such as the over 75's party and distribution of Harvest gifts as well as visiting those who are unable to come to church. The Overseas Missions Group organises the annual Christian Aid House to House collection in the village and other events raising the profile of the world wide church. The Church Centre is well used by the wider community for many activities. Scouts and Guides meet in the Scout Hutt next to the Church Centre.
Mother and Toddler Group meet every Monday morning during term time between 09.30 – 11.30, drinks at 10.00, a bit more play then a little sing song before we go home.
