At All Saint's Parish Church Wingerworth we try to offer different forms of worship, because people have different needs. For Children: First Steps! A special church time for Under 5sand their carers Tuesday mornings in term-time. Meets in the Church Vestry. 3rd Tuesdays BIG Steps Drinks and play time from 9 - 10 am, followed by a short service, story time, activity and craft, finishing approx 10.30 am All other Tuesdays MINI Steps Drinks and playtime from 9 - 9.45 am, followed by a short service, finishing at 10 am. 2010: April 20 BIG First Steps April 27 Mini May 4 Mini May 11 Mini May 18 BIG First Steps May 25 Mini June 1 HALF TERM June 8 Mini June 15 BIG First Steps June 22 BIBLE WEEK SPECIAL June 29 Mini July 6 Mini July 13 Mini July 20 BIG First Steps SUMMER HOLIDAYS X:Club: 5 - 11 year olds 6 - 7 pm Mondays in groups of four weeks. X:tra Club: 11 - 14 year olds Meets twice a month 1st & 3rd Wednesdays, 7 - 8.30pm in the Church Centre. Board games, trips out, crafts, activities and DVDs. For more information ask Jenn Willis 554430. Activity club: Primary school age children. 9.30am -11.30am Monday to Thursday 16th -19th August 2010. Bible stories, crafts and games. Ring the Parish Office: 297095 for a booking form. For Families: Five Ways: Held four times a year on a Saturday morning 9.30am - 11 am in Church. Light breakfast of croissant and/or cereal and tea/coffee at 9.30am, activities begin at 10am. 13th March, 19th June, 11th September, 27th November. Ring the Parish Office: 297095 to book your place. For Adults: Café Worship: 7-8.30pm fourth Sunday in the month A worship experience -chat to friends, poems, music, DVDs, Bible reading, sermon, prayers, drinks and biscuits! Café Learning: 7-8.30pm second Sunday in the month A worship experience - chat to friends, speaker, music, Bible reading, sermon, prayers, drinks and biscuits! Women Together: for women of employment age! 7.30 pm every 2nd Thursday in month. A time to get together socially and spiritually. Past evenings include trips to the theatre and the bowling alley, discussion evenings and eating. Ring the Parish Office: 297095 to book your place. Breakfast for Men: for men of all ages. 8 - 9 am last Saturday in the month in the Church Centre. A time to get together socially and spiritually. Come with a friend - or meet friends here! Messy Church: For people of all ages with and without children. Held four times a year on a Saturday 5 - 7pm in the Church Centre. Fun activities, quizzes, crafts, games, short service, and eat a meal together. 30th January, 8th May, 17th July, 16th October. Please phone the church centre office on 297095 to book a place. Sung Holy Communion: 9.30am Sunday (except first Sunday) A service of Holy Communion with hymns, readings, prayers and a sermon. Holy Communion: 8am Sunday, 9.30am Thursday A service of Holy Communion with prayers and readings and a sermon on Sunday. Traditional Evensong: 6.30pm first and third Sunday in the month (4pm in winter) Morning Prayer: 9.05am most days except Sundays.

Time for Yourself Have you tried one of our new Sunday evening Café Services yet? At Café Services you'll find friendship, hospitality, hot drinks (with marshmallows on top of some) and biscuits, as well as a real worship experience. Café:Learning on the 2nd Sunday evening of the month has a more 'serious' flavour. Café:Worship on the 4th Sunday evening of the month is 'lighter' with poetry, DVDs, reflections etc. Both start sharp at 7 pm and end close to 8.30 pm
